A Woman Beneath Notice

Old Mr. Sterling became agitated, his chest heaving violently. He was clearly furious. Beside him, the old madam, Evelyn Sterling, saw this and immediately stood up to help calm his breathing.

"All right, enough. Don't get worked up! Did you forget what Dr. Mu told you? He told you to keep your temper and your pride in check!"

Paige Sterling also stepped forward to soothe him. "Dad, don't get upset. It's not worth ruining your health over something this small."

With Evelyn Sterling and Paige Sterling calming him down, Old Mr. Sterling finally slowly settled.

At that moment, Paige Sterling's eyes shifted, and she took the opportunity to say, "Dad, I think Julian's heart isn't in Sterling Group either, so why don't we..."

Old Mr. Sterling was afraid Julian Sterling had only said it casually to placate him and had no real intention of separating from that woman, so he had to make arrangements in advance.

She was nothing but a poor, shabby woman. Just throw some money at her and send her away!

Paige Sterling smiled and said, "Dad, don't worry. I'll make sure you're satisfied."

After sitting a while longer, Paige Sterling left with Ian Sterling, smiling from ear to ear.

After the two of them had gone, Evelyn Sterling looked at Old Mr. Sterling and said with a faint note of reproach in her voice, "You've arranged so many girls for him, and Julian has never given any of them a second look. I think it's good enough that he's willing to find a woman this time. Why are you going to all this trouble to break them up?"

"That woman isn't worthy!" Old Mr. Sterling narrowed his eyes.

Evelyn Sterling sighed and shook her head, knowing his temperament was stubborn and no one else could dissuade him.
