Don't Be Stupid Enough to Let Yourself Be Used
Naomi Pierce had lorded it over everyone as the Bennett family's precious daughter for so long, and Victor Bennett deserved a lot of the credit for that.
It was his fault for not getting to the bottom of this matter.
Victor Bennett didn't quite understand Julian Sterling's baffling words. He didn't know why Julian had called him here in the first place. Just to insult him?
He didn't have that much time to waste on Julian Sterling. The new product launch was about to begin.
He had to get to the venue now. Claire Bennett was waiting for him.
Just as Victor Bennett was about to leave, Julian Sterling said darkly, "Back then, your marriage with the Shaw family was a perfect match. You should have had sweet times with Megan Shaw Bennett. "The reason I've told you so much, Mr. Bennett, is to tell you this: from now on, keep your eyes open. Don't be stupid enough to let yourself be used like a fool."
