Ch. 258 - Please Don't Shout Randomly

Chapter 258

Please Don't Shout Randomly

Claire Bennett stood in front of Julian Sterling and looked at Tanya Sterling as she said coldly, "Ms. Sterling, today is Maison Verne's new product launch, not a place for you to throw a tantrum. Even though you're Ethan Sterling's mother, you're not a Maison Verne employee. You have no right to throw people out whenever you want."

Julian Sterling looked at the little woman actually standing in front of him, shielding him, and something in his heart softened.

He reached out and pulled Claire Bennett back to his side, his voice gentle as he soothed her. "Don't worry. I'll handle this. Wait off to the side."

When Claire Bennett heard that, although she found Julian Sterling especially charming, she still couldn't help muttering to herself.

Handle what? Tanya Sterling was Ethan Sterling's mother. She wasn't someone a tiny little driver like him could compare to.

If Julian Sterling rashly stepped in like this, he was just throwing an egg against a rock.

"I have no right?" Tanya Sterling sneered, glaring fiercely at Claire Bennett. "I can make you get the hell out right now!"

After saying that, she furiously barked at the attendants behind her, "What are you all still standing there for? Get over here and throw them out already!"

The staff in the back all stepped forward together, but instead of walking up to Julian Sterling, they walked over to Tanya Sterling. One stood on each side, grabbed her by the arms, and restrained her.

Tanya Sterling froze for a moment, then began struggling violently, still shouting angrily, "What are you doing! Are you deaf? I told you to throw this pretty boy out!"

The people around them were stunned to see Tanya Sterling being held down, and they immediately began whispering among themselves.

Mrs. King was practically unable to hold back her glee at kicking her while she was down.

Just now, she'd thought Tanya Sterling had brought them over to humiliate her badly, but instead Tanya Sterling was the one who had lost all face.

When Ethan Sterling saw his mother being restrained in public, his face instantly darkened.

This was undoubtedly a slap to his face, and a public one at that. If Tanya Sterling was really thrown out today, how could he ever hold his head up in front of his father-in-law again?

He also couldn't accept the humiliation of being crushed in front of a driver.

Ethan Sterling's face flushed red as he glared at Julian Sterling and said coldly, "This is not a place where you get to call the shots. Let my mother go right now!"

Looking at Ethan Sterling standing before him, Julian Sterling's expression remained perfectly calm, without the slightest ripple. There was even an almost crushing contempt in his eyes, making Ethan Sterling feel like he was nothing in front of him.

At once, Ethan Sterling's face turned even uglier. He had investigated this pretty boy Claire Bennett had found. Wasn't he just a chauffeur who drove for other people?

What gave him the right to look at him like that?

Julian Sterling said nothing. He merely told the men holding Tanya Sterling, "Throw her out."

As Tanya Sterling was dragged toward the exit, she no longer had the luxury of caring about face. If she was thrown out in front of all these wealthy ladies, how was she supposed to show her face again afterward?

But those burly bodyguards were far too strong, so how could she possibly break free?

In the end, Tanya Sterling could only call to Victor Bennett for help. "In-law, hurry and help me! Hurry and save me!"

Victor Bennett's gaze was indifferent, and he said coolly and distantly, "Sorry, ma'am, I am not your in-law. Please don't shout randomly, so as to avoid causing unnecessary misunderstandings!"

Tanya Sterling froze.

The guests around them were all shocked by Victor Bennett's words as well.

Th-this... what was going on?

The commotion at the scene instantly fell silent. After a long stretch of silence, quite a few people finally let out soft exclamations, their eyes moving back and forth between Tanya Sterling and Victor Bennett.
