Maybe because she'd brought up Julian Sterling too many times with Zane Cole today, his figure had been filling her mind all day. You could say she'd been thinking about him the entire day.

Claire Bennett didn't hide it either and said directly, "That's right. I've been thinking about you all day."

"Come on, I was just getting to it! Then I heard them mention your name, so I stayed by the door and listened for a bit. And what I heard was that they're actually planning to directly announce the marriage alliance between the Sterling family and the Lewis family at Grandma's birthday banquet!"

After saying that, Ruby Sterling looked indignant. Clenching her fists, she said angrily, "Doing this, where does that leave my sister-in-law? We should've just brought Claire over and announced her identity directly instead."

Julian Sterling's expression darkened. No matter what Grandpa and Grandma wanted to do, there was no way he would compromise.

"I know. Go back to your room and sleep," Julian Sterling replied in a low voice.

Ruby Sterling knew Julian Sterling definitely had some kind of plan, so she got up and returned to her room at ease.

When they came back to New York, they naturally stayed at the Sterling estate. Rooms had been kept for them there and were cleaned regularly. It was also very close to Old Mr. Sterling and Old Mrs. Sterling's room, which was why Ruby Sterling had overheard what was just said.

After Ruby Sterling left, Julian Sterling's face darkened, his eyes cold and grim.
