Claire Bennett, So You Have Your Day Too
Ethan Sterling followed the figure ahead at neither too close nor too far a distance, and watched her turn into the restaurant's garden area.
This restaurant was a private establishment, decorated with exceptional taste. Every part of the scenery had been meticulously designed, and there was even an open-air little garden in the center of the restaurant.
If people dining inside felt stuffy, they could come out here for a stroll.
But most of the people who came here to eat rarely came out. The little garden was the most secluded place, and any movement could be heard with perfect clarity.
Watching the person he was following enter the little garden, Ethan Sterling narrowed his eyes slightly, showing a surprised look.
He had originally thought she had followed him here, but now that he knew she apparently hadn't come for him, his curiosity was piqued instead.
Ethan Sterling lightened his steps and slowly moved closer to the densely screened greenery as quietly as possible.
When he got close enough, a familiar voice came through the thick branches...
"Later, remember to make the woman in the Bihai private room drink this cup of tea! If you do the job well, I won't shortchange you. The remaining balance will be transferred to your card as promised."
"Got it."
Immediately after that came the sound of cautious footsteps leaving.
Ethan Sterling's expression darkened.
Bihai was the name of one of the restaurant's private rooms, and Claire Bennett had just come out of Bihai!
Ethan Sterling could originally have stopped it, but for some reason, after thinking of something, he did not step in to stop it. Then he quietly left without alerting anyone.

Claire Bennett looked at Naomi Pierce with mocking eyes and slowly laid out everything one by one.
