Sienna Shaw had originally looked gloomy, but after hearing Claire Bennett's words, she immediately perked up again, her whole face seeming to glow.

If your mother isn't in a condition to travel, you can bring her along too, or hire a caregiver for her here. I can cover the expense for you for now."
"No need." Sienna let out a somewhat sorrowful sigh and said, "My mother passed away a week ago."
Claire Bennett fell silent. She had accidentally touched on Sienna's pain.
A moment later, she said, "My condolences."
Sienna didn't seem to carry any psychological shadow from it. She smiled and said, "Manager Bennett, you don't need to worry about me. Before my mother passed, her illness had made her suffer terribly, so for her, leaving was also a kind of release."
Seeing that Sienna showed no sadness, Claire Bennett didn't try to comfort her further.
At the mention of mothers, Claire Bennett immediately thought of her own mother, Megan Shaw Bennett, who had been in a vegetative state for many years.

After saying goodbye to Sienna, Claire Bennett left her house.
She didn't go anywhere else. Because Sienna's situation had moved her, she went straight to Cole Medical Center to visit her mother.
After hurrying to the hospital, she happened to arrive just as the doctor was giving her mother acupuncture. Claire Bennett didn't disturb the nurse and simply sat on a chair in the hallway outside to wait.
At that moment, Zane Cole passed by and saw Claire Bennett. He suppressed the joy in his eyes and said softly, "Claire, you came to see Aunt Qing so soon?"
It seemed that moving Megan Shaw Bennett to Cole Medical Center back then had indeed been the right choice. This way, he could see Claire Bennett often.
Claire Bennett nodded. "Yeah, I happened to be in New York taking care of something, so I stopped by."
Zane Cole said, "Come on, I'll take you to check on Aunt Qing's condition."
Hearing this, Claire Bennett stood up and followed him into the hospital room.
Claire Bennett stayed with Megan Shaw Bennett through her treatment, and after listening to Zane Cole talk for a while about her condition, she was finally completely relieved.

Zane Cole glanced at his watch and said, "Claire, let me treat you to lunch."
"How could that be? You helped me out so much. I should be the one treating you to lunch!"
