Claire Bennett Is Pregnant
Naturally, Claire Bennett had no idea, because this nurse had been brought in by Ruby Sterling!
The plan Cameron Quinn had just told her was exactly this: have Ruby Sterling bribe a nurse, then fake the story that Claire Bennett was pregnant.
Surely Old Mr. Sterling and Old Mrs. Sterling, who cared so much about descendants, would agree to let Claire Bennett and Julian Sterling stay together and would no longer try to break them up by force.

I'm going to have a nephew, and my brother will finally have an heir! But now that you and my brother are already divorced, it looks like this child will have to take the Bennett last name. When Old Mr. Sterling heard Ruby Sterling's words, his brows drew together so tightly they looked like they could crush a mosquito.
What did she mean, change the last name!
How could a child of the Sterling family possibly be left out in the world!

Julian Sterling's gaze fell on Claire Bennett. He looked at her once before turning and walking out with Old Mr. Sterling.

Julian Sterling lightly curled his lips and said with a faint smile, "Grandpa, didn't you already hear what the nurse said just now?"
Seeing Julian Sterling acting like a dead pig that isn't afraid of boiling water, Old Mr. Sterling became furious.
Old Mr. Sterling continued angrily, dissatisfied, "How could you get that woman pregnant? You did this on purpose to piss me off, didn't you?"

Old Mr. Sterling's expression turned incredibly ugly.
What did he mean, only natural? There was nothing natural about this at all!
He had finally managed to get Julian Sterling to separate from Claire Bennett, and now Julian Sterling had gone and knocked her up. What was he supposed to do now?
Most importantly, the Sterling family was not the kind of family that would drag a woman away to have an abortion. Whether legitimate or not, as long as it was a Sterling family child, they would never let it be left out in the world.
After saying that, Julian Sterling did not continue provoking Old Mr. Sterling.

If Claire Bennett was pregnant, Old Mr. Sterling would not let her and the child be left out in the world, at least not before Claire Bennett gave birth.
Old Mr. Sterling paced back and forth in the hallway with his hands behind his back. His expression changed again and again, as though he were thinking about how to deal with Claire Bennett.
A moment later, Old Mr. Sterling stopped walking.
He shot Julian Sterling a sharp look and said in a deep voice, "Since that woman is already pregnant, it's not as if I won't let her give birth..."
Hearing Old Mr. Sterling's words, Julian Sterling's eyes darkened.
