Julian Sterling Actually Woke Up
The Sterling family home.
Claire Bennett hurried over. When she saw a large crowd gathered in Julian Sterling's room, her face grew even more anxious.
She quickly stepped forward and finally saw Julian Sterling lying on the bed. His tall, upright body lay there quietly, his face a little pale. He looked extremely weak, and even his breathing was calm and faint.
The scene in front of her was a little like the first time Claire Bennett had seen her mother after something happened to her in the hospital many years ago.
She almost couldn't stay on her feet, but Ruby Sterling noticed her and quickly went up to support her. "Claire, you finally came."
"What happened to Julian Sterling?"
When the family doctor saw Claire Bennett appear, she said, "Young Master Julian fainted because he went too long without getting adequate rest and was suddenly agitated. Right now he's immersed in his own world and unwilling to wake up. Miss Bennett, perhaps you can wake him."

After a long while, Claire Bennett finally found her voice and wanted to speak, but to her surprise, Julian Sterling sat up and reached out to cover her mouth, then pulled her forcefully into his arms.
His voice murmured by Claire Bennett's ear, "Don't make a sound. Grandpa and Grandma are outside. Be careful they don't hear."
Claire Bennett slowly realized what was going on.
Julian Sterling must have been pretending to faint. Knowing that nothing had happened to him, Claire Bennett's tightly wound emotions finally eased a little, but when she thought about how he had actually lied to people, she felt furious again!
"Claire, I missed you so much." Julian Sterling murmured softly by her ear.
He also buried his head deep against her shoulder and held her tightly in his arms, as if filled with endless longing.
Claire Bennett had originally wanted to push Julian Sterling away, but in his embrace, she felt reluctant to let go. In the end, she didn't push him away.
And it wasn't just Julian Sterling who missed her. During these past few days apart from him, she had missed him terribly too.
It was only because she knew she couldn't indulge herself that she suppressed everything in her heart and used work to numb her emotions. Today, when she heard Ruby Sterling say that Julian Sterling had fainted, she had panicked completely.
"It's good that you're okay." In the end, that was all Claire Bennett could say.
