The Wife Who Gave Everything

Ch. 107 - The Room That Ignored

Chapter 107

The Room That Ignored

The room had been ignored twice before.

Now they entered it twice more.

Elise, Bell, Priya, and Mara sat in separate corners and reviewed why the room logs had no witness check after a critical override.

The air had an old metallic smell from cables.

"This room ignores any claim not accompanied by owner signature," Bell said.

"No wonder it ignored us," Priya said.

Elise replayed the hearing footage and paused at one frame where the red count on the monitor dropped by one.

11:17 appeared and then a single untagged frame.

Mara said, "That frame had no audio."

"Because it was an ignored frame," Priya said.

The hearing panel asked for reason why the ignored frame was not flagged.

Elise answered with a line from the contract:

If route changes within one maintenance window, non-critical errors can be ignored.

The room judge looked up. "Then your case is proving it was misclassified as non-critical."

Bell gave one concise point:

A witness queue hold is always critical.

The clerk wrote and asked for one last addendum from the room team.

Mara and Priya spent three hours creating a short addendum:

Ignored frame at maintenance transition
No owner confirmation
No consent identity.

They submitted it before midnight.

Outside, the corridor door clicked without wind.

Elise checked her notes and wrote:

No room is neutral if it decides what can be ignored.

The unknown source sent one line:

**Only ignored frames can contain the person.

Elise deleted none of it. She pinned it to the evidence wall.
