The Name of No-Face
Elise called it the name of no-face because every room kept avoiding personhood, and now the court wanted names from process.
The hearing asked the key question at last:
"Can this case proceed to final correction without a named no-face witness?"
Elise answered, "Not if process has replaced a person with a room."
Priya added the relay logs, Bell the access chain, Mara the corridor maps.
The panel looked at them and asked for one additional file.
Elise handed over the full unknown-source note set, minus identifying lines.
The clerk requested verification that they had been kept in sequence.
Priya said, "We can prove sequence by hash and timestamp."
Mara added, "And by legal events: ownership, queue hold, and delayed witness."
The judge asked if they had a direct person identity.
Elise looked at Bell, then at Priya.
"No," she said. "But we have enough to force the category to be named."
The room stayed silent.
Outside, when they stepped into evening air, one maintenance worker said from across the street:
The court will not name someone just for your story.
Bell said, "Then we are not telling a story. We are naming process."
Elise looked at her notes and wrote:
No-face is not innocence. It is a system error dressed as procedure.
The unknown source sent one final line:
**Now no-face has a name.
She added one sentence below:
Not a person. A category that cannot be legal silence anymore.
