One showed footsteps.

One showed Bell’s laugh from another hour.

The judge called an emergency comparison and asked both sides to respond.
Bell said this was impossible without manual override.
Elise asked for override logs and got "none."
Priya said every system had recorded override by one invisible actor.
"Invisible actor is not actor," Elise corrected.

They traced the missing minute to a maintenance script in an old firmware file.

Elise asked the room how that function had been approved.
No answer.
Outside, Bell stood on the curb and watched the building lights.
