The Last Entry
Elise arrived at the hearing with a folder titled "No Witness, No Error."
It had all the evidence from chapter 100 to 159 and the silent signatures, codes, keys, and fallback lines.
The room had one last procedural question:
"What do you need now?"
Elise took out her notebook.
"One final entry," she said.
She asked for the missing entry from the original case file that had never been cataloged.
The clerk stalled.
Priya played the sequence of delays in real time.
Elise requested again, then again.
The judge ordered temporary release for inspection.
When the file opened, the title was:

owner: unassigned
She clicked.
No sound.
No text.
Then one line, delayed by eight seconds:
If everyone agrees there is no final owner, then process can never conclude.
Elise read it and put down the mouse.
The prosecutor stood and asked for context.
Context is this hearing itself. she answered.
There was one more attachment.
It contained a single photo of the first courtroom door.
No people. No chairs. Only a long empty corridor.
Bell pointed out the tiny object on the wall near frame edge.

Elise submitted the statement.
At home she found one final message from a blocked number:
