The Final Room Record

When opened, it had one row:

room_ownership_test = incomplete.

Elise had seen that phrase before but not as a final field.

She took it to court immediately.

The clerk resisted calling it complete evidence.

Elise requested that a row labeled final should not stay incomplete.

If a record marks final, it should not ask questions. Priya said.

The engineer on screen said there was one hidden field:

if incomplete and owner_unknown then keep room.

Elise smiled in disbelief.

That is exactly what kept this case open, and exactly what kept truth away.

At annex corridor 6, Bell found a paper copy of the same record with one new line in faint pencil:

I waited until your hearing found a room with a person.

Elise copied that pencil line and set it under seal.

No one responded to that last line except the judge, who asked the room to produce one person identity before proceeding further.
