The Final Sequence

When they entered, the panel requested a line-by-line summary.

Priya handed the technical part.

Signature sequence: 1 through 12.
Missing item: 10 unresolved.
Room S: no witness channel continuity.
Camera bracket removals at corridor 5.

Elise spoke her part.

I cannot state June as person.
I can state process removed personhood from a route.

Mara said one sentence that almost broke the room.

If a witness is made from one missing signature, the witness becomes a room, and that room is never safe.

The panel asked for witness identity and direct corroboration.

Bell gave his map and said he signed as custodian.

Priya gave hash tables and independent timestamps from a neutral recorder.

The room asked if they wanted to rest.

Elise asked for a 24-hour window.

Outside, a message arrived from the blocked line:

You are one sentence away from complete sequence.

She almost laughed.

Bell said, "Need context."

Priya answered, "No, just a statement that keeps it honest."

They sat in the hall and wrote one final line for submission:

The process that claims June as witness must identify who gave the room the right to speak.

Under review. the clerk said.

Not final.

Not denied.

In the parking lot, Elise and Mara split once more.

Mara said, "I think this is the cleanest thing we've done."

Elise said, "Cleaner than truth, not truth itself."

Priya checked her phone and said external report delayed by 48 hours.

Elise said, "That is enough."

She kept one copy of the final sequence at home and one in legal. The third in Bell’s sealed route.
