Four Minutes Missing
The video contained four minutes Claire could not account for and a clock that ran backward. Asha traced its upload to Claire's home hub.
When they returned with a warrant, every room was normal except the spare room, which had been painted overnight. Beneath wet white paint, Claire found pencil marks measuring two women's heights.
One belonged to Mae. The other ended at Lucy's shoulder.
A speaker behind the wall played Claire's own voice giving instructions to hide the key. She recognized the cadence of sedation.
The recording ended with a door closing inside the closet.
