The Misconduct File
The misconduct file mixed forgery with one true failure: Naomi had once approved an accelerated field test after her mother lost mobility.
No one was harmed, but she had bypassed a review panel. Voss had preserved that shortcut for twelve years.
Naomi wanted to omit it from her response. Gabriel refused to represent a partial truth.
She disclosed it to Lena before Northstar could. Lena's patient group withdrew public support anyway.
That evening, Adrian announced Naomi's shortcut as the reason for a nationwide safety review of old products. He excluded the altered new model.
