"Zane took her... what?! What did you say?" Ruby Sterling was startled and immediately looked at Julian Sterling in shock. She never expected something like this to happen, and she instantly grew anxious, afraid that someone was going to steal away Claire Bennett, her sister-in-law.
But Ruby quickly thought of something and suddenly looked at Julian Sterling suspiciously.

Just then, Julian Sterling's phone rang.
It was a call from the person he had sent to keep an eye on Claire Bennett. He swiped to answer it.
Ruby had already caught a glimpse of Julian Sterling's phone earlier and knew it was a call from his personal bodyguard. Wanting to know Claire Bennett's current situation, she looked at Julian Sterling eagerly and said, "Julian, I want to hear too!"
Julian Sterling helplessly turned on speakerphone.
