The Clean Switch
The clean switch was found behind a locked panel in the maintenance room, with a sticker that said DO NOT RESET.
Elise, Priya, and Bell reached it at 2:10 in the morning and worked in near-darkness.
Priya removed three screws and pulled out a black relay with one exposed switch.
"This is too clean," she said. "No dust, no wear."
Bell checked the access log and found one entry at 11:17 on the same day the first hearing took place.
Mara waited by the door and asked, "Can someone leave a clean switch and still fake manual override?"
Priya gave the most practical answer: "Only if the clean is older than the fake."
Elise made a line-by-line copy of the switch and the relays around it.
At hearing, they requested physical inspection of the switch as evidence.
The panel allowed a temporary witness inspection but refused immediate conclusion.
Elise submitted the relay photo, with one note:

Priya added:
No public chain recorded this transition as manual consent.
In the corridor, one security camera gave a soft static burst exactly once.
The unknown source sent one line at 11:17:
**The clean switch is not the truth. It's a promise.
Mara asked, "Of what?"
Elise said, "That the system can still be touched by law."
Bell looked at the switch cover and muttered, "Then law has to touch it first."
