The Third Ferry
The third ferry arrived with no passengers and one open cabin.
Rowan found Claire on the dock, holding the ticket from the room without a clock. The ferryman refused to look at either of them.
“Where does it go?” Rowan asked.
“Where the first story was left,” the ferryman said.
The engine started before they stepped aboard.
