The Door Behind the Closet
Claire dismantled the spare-room closet and found a narrow observation corridor built during an old renovation.
Her architectural drawings did not show it. Daniel's deed packet did.
Lucy crawled through first and recovered a camera with Mae's fingerprint on the lens. The final clip showed Mae telling someone off-screen, "Claire cannot know until the house chooses her voice."
The corridor ended at the neighboring property.
Nina owned that property through an LLC she claimed never to have seen.
